Ukraine has exported 32.851 million tons of grain since the beginning of the season.
According to the State Customs Service, as of March 20, 2024, Ukraine exported 32.851 million tons of grains and pulses.
This is slightly less than in the same period last year (35.81 million tons), but still indicates the resilience of the Ukrainian agricultural sector in the face of war.
By crops:
Wheat: exports of 13.072 mln tons (in 2022/23 MY – 12.285 mln tons).
Barley: exports of 1.889 mln tons (2.229 mln tons).
Rye: exports of 1 thsd tonnes (16.8 thsd tonnes).
Corn: exports of 17.603 million tons (20.981 million tons).
According to the experts’ forecasts, Ukraine’s grain exports in 2023/24 MY may reach 40-45 mln tonnes. This will be significantly less than in previous years, but will still allow Ukraine to maintain its status as one of the key global grain suppliers.
