As of early August, Ukraine has already harvested 25.29 million tons of grains and over 3.23 million tons of oilseeds. In particular, rapeseed was harvested from an area of 1.19 million hectares, and 3.23 million tons of seeds were harvested.

✅Volyn region: “Rapeseed is good, with high oil content of 49-50%. The yield remained at the level of the previous year. If we take Volyn region, we can say that the actual weight of rapeseed is slightly lower – it is more shrinking, but the oil content is good.”
✅Khmelnytskyi and Rivne regions: “There were no issues with the quality of rapeseed. Almost all of the harvest was dry. This year, in one region, we have better indicators of glucosinolates in rapeseed than last year. This indicator affects the classification of seeds, so the rapeseed was of a higher class.”
✅Vinnytsia region: “Rapeseed of good quality, rather high oil content – 44-49% (on wet and dry matter).”
✅Zhytomyr region: “The rapeseed is dry and good this year, of quite good quality”.
✅Sumy region: “The quality of rapeseed this year corresponds to last year’s in terms of oil content, nature and grade, and weediness. Of course, there are small batches with low oil content, but it depends on the variety.”
