The grain harvest in Ukraine is coming to an end. In particular, farmers in eight regions have completed harvesting early grains and pulses. They harvested 27.3 million tons of grain and over 3.3 million tons of oilseeds.
These are Bukovyna, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Poltava, Odesa, Kherson, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions.
The new harvest was threshed on an area of over 7,741.4 thousand hectares, with a harvest of 30,640.2 thousand tons.
Wheat – threshed on the area of 4 732.7 thou hectares or 97%, harvested 20 935.2 thou tons;
Barley – 1 367.4 thou hectares were threshed, which is 98%, with a harvest of 5 203.6 thou tons;
Peas – threshed on 207.6 thou hectares – 99%, harvested 457.7 thou tons.
Rapeseed – 1 220.4 thou hectares were threshed by 99%, 3 318 thou tons of seeds were harvested.
