✅Individual farms in Volyn have started harvesting winter barley. The total area of its cultivation is 7.7 thousand hectares. This was reported in Volynska OVA.
It is expected that the active harvest phase will start at the end of the second decade of the current month with the harvesting of winter rapeseed and winter wheat.
📌The total area before harvesting grain and leguminous crops in Volyn is 303.3 thousand hectares. Of them:
🌾 winter grain crops – 176.6 thousand ha (wheat – 149.1 thousand ha, rye – 1.7 thousand ha, barley – 7.7 thousand ha);
🌾 spring cereals and legumes – 126.1 thousand ha (wheat – 13.3 thousand ha, barley – 20.0 thousand ha, corn – 57.0 thousand ha, oats – 30.8 thousand ha, buckwheat — 2.7 thousand hectares, peas — 2.2 thousand hectares, millet — 100 hectares).
In addition, 152.3 thousand hectares of technical crops are subject to threshing, in particular:
🌿 rapeseed — 51.8 thousand hectares;
🌻 sunflower – 42.5 thousand hectares;
🌱 soybeans – 58 thousand ha.
