Spring sowing campaign was the first in Ukraine to start agrarians of Odessa region and already sowed 3.5 thousand hectares of cereals and legumes, of which 1.5 thousand hectares of barley and 2 thousand hectares of peas. According to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
In total, 726.5 thousand hectares are planned to be sown in the region.
In the context of cultures plan to sow:
early cereals and legumes – 68.5 thousand hectares,
Grill – 7.2 thousand hectares,
corn – 150 thousand hectares,
sunflower – 410 thousand hectares,
Soy – 6.5 thousand hectares,
flax oil – 15 thousand hectares,
Potatoes and vegetables-37.0 thousand hectares.
Ukrainian farmers are preparing to sow in the spring those areas that have not been implemented in winter crops, including because of adverse weather conditions.
