The Volyn region has already started the spring sowing campaign, as some farms report a decrease in soil moisture.

It is noted that almost 5 thousand hectares have already been sown with spring grains and legumes, such as wheat, triticale, barley and oats.

According to the plan for this year, it is planned to sow about 350 thousand hectares of spring crops. Of these, 140 thou hectares will be used for spring grains and legumes, 154 thou hectares for industrial crops, and 59 thou hectares for fodder crops.

It is also expected that the area under potatoes and vegetables will increase by 5 thou hectares compared to last year and amount to 103 thou hectares.
