Soybean harvest has begun in Ukraine

📌As of the beginning of September, Ukrainian agricultural producers threshed 🚜 29.18 million tons of new crop grain. Kurkul.com writes about it.

✅Harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops was carried out on an area of 6.64 million hectares (61% of the forecast) with a yield of 4.39 t/ha.
In terms of cultures, the following are threshed:
🌾 wheat — 22.14 million tons from an area of 4.68 million hectares (101% to the forecast), average yield — 4.72 tons/ha;
🌾 barley — 5.8 million tons from an area of 1.48 million hectares (100%), yield — 3.88 tons/ha;
🍃 peas – 385.7 thousand tons from an area of 154.02 thousand hectares (103%), yield – 2.5 tons/ha;
🌿 buckwheat — 27.7 thousand tons from an area of 19.8 thousand hectares (14%), yield — 1.4 tons/ha;
🌿 millet — 34.1 thousand tons from an area of 16.7 thousand hectares (20%), yield — 2.04 tons/ha.
✅As of the reporting date, the following are the leaders in grain yield:
• Khmelnytskyi — 6.45 t/ha;
• Vinnytsia — 5.77 t/ha;
• Cherkasy — 5.63 t/ha;
• Ternopil Region — 5.48 t/ha;
• Poltava region — 5.4 t/ha.
• At the end of August, the harvest of soybeans and sugar beets began in Ukraine.
✅In particular, 30.6 thousand tons of soybeans were threshed from an area of 11.2 thousand hectares (0.6% to the forecast). The yield at the end of the season is 2.73 t/ha. Farmers of Kyiv Region, Odesa Region, and Poltava Region started collecting.
Sugar beets have started to be dug in Vinnytsia region. 51.2 thousand tons of roots were collected from an area of 1.1 thousand hectares. By the way, the new sugar beet processing season has already started in Ukraine.
✅ 49.4 thousand tons of sunflower were threshed from an area of 25.6 thousand hectares with a yield of 1.93 tons/ha.
✅ As of the reporting date, the collection of winter rape continues. 1.39 million hectares were threshed (98% to the forecast), 3.99 million tons of seeds were threshed with a yield of 2.87 tons/ha.
✅ According to analysts’ forecasts, rapeseed production in Ukraine may reach a new historical maximum, amounting to 4.2 million tons (+5% to the previous estimate; +17% by 2022).
