1️⃣Ukraine is among the three world leaders in the production of barley, is one of the largest producers of sugar beets, and is also among the seven world leaders in the production of sugar, vegetable oil, pork and potatoes.
2️⃣ Over the past 20 years, the yield of corn in Ukraine has increased by more than 50%. To accommodate the entire crop of corn grown in Ukraine in one year, you will need 43 Olympic stadiums, or a train 3,700 km long (equal to the distance from Kyiv to Madrid). Corn itself is the most common agricultural crop in the world (more than 38% of the total grain production).
3️⃣ Ukraine remains the world leader in sunflower production and produces more sunflower oil than the entire world of olive oil.
4️⃣ You can bake half a billion Kyiv cakes from Ukrainian nuts.
5️⃣ The first frame beehive was invented in Ukraine in 1814 by Peter Prokopovich. In recent years, Ukraine has confidently maintained its place in the top three world leaders in honey production, ahead of European countries in terms of honey production by several times. In addition, Ukraine ranks first in the world in honey production per capita (1.5 kg).
6️⃣ Ukraine ranks third in the world in corn and rapeseed exports, and sixth in grain exports. The main importers of Ukrainian corn are China, Spain, and Romania.
