Regions-leaders in terms of soybean sowing are named
As of May, agricultural producers of Ukraine planted 1.63 million hectares of soybeans (89% of the forecast). Kurkul.com writes about it.

During the week, 374.6 thousand hectares were sown with crops. The largest area is in Khmelnytskyi region — 79.7 thousand hectares.
Most soybeans were sown on:
• Kyiv Region — 188.7 thousand hectares;
• Zhytomyr Oblast — 169.1 thousand hectares;
• Khmelnytskyi — 166.4 thousand ha;
• Poltava Oblast — 150,000 ha.
As of the reporting date, 4.61 million hectares, or 82% of the forecast, were sown with sunflowers.
Farmers sowed the most oil crops:
• Kirovohrad Oblast — 576,000 ha;
• Dnipro Oblast — 468.9 thousand ha;
• Poltava Oblast — 435,000 ha.
Also, sugar beet producers exceeded the sowing plan — 240.9 thousand hectares (109% of the forecast).
