Day of mourning and remembrance of the victims of the war in Ukraine
Every year on June 22, Ukraine commemorates the millions of people who died on the bloody fields of the Great Patriotic War.
This terrible war took the lives of every fifth Ukrainian. The Day of Mourning was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On the Day of Mourning and Remembrance of the Victims of War in Ukraine” of November 17, 2000 № 1245/2000.
Today, when Ukraine is already at war with the Russian aggressor, this Day of Mourning and Remembrance of the Victims of War is especially relevant. This date has acquired a new, even more tragic, meaning.
Bright and eternal memory to all the victims!
We believe in victory. Peace to us all!
